Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of EzyStudio. By installing the app you agree to be bound by them.
1. Acceptance
By installing or using EzyStudio ("the Service") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or continue using the app. These terms form a binding agreement between you (the merchant) and EzyStudio.
2. The Service
EzyStudio is a no-code discount rule builder that runs on Shopify Functions. It allows merchants to create conditional, tiered, buy-X-get-Y, and bundle discount rules without writing code. Rules are evaluated natively within Shopify's checkout infrastructure at the time of purchase.
3. Plans & Billing
EzyStudio offers the following subscription plans:
- —Pro: $99/month or $1,008/year
- —Enterprise: $299/month or $3,048/year
All billing is processed through Shopify Billing. Cancelling a plan ends access at the conclusion of the current billing period. Plan changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated by Shopify.
4. AI Credits
The AI Assistant consumes credits for certain operations:
- —Generate, Update, Refine: 2 credits per request
- —Expert mode: 5 credits per request
- —Explain: Free, subject to rate limiting
A welcome credit grant is issued upon plan activation. Enterprise Annual plans receive a monthly credit grant. Credits are non-refundable except where required by Shopify's billing policies. Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods unless otherwise stated.
5. Platform Limits
Active rule group limits per plan:
- —Pro: 20 rule groups
- —Enterprise: 25 rule groups
Shopify enforces a platform-wide limit of 25 simultaneous automatic discounts per store, regardless of plan.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- —Abuse or attempt to circumvent rate limits or credit consumption
- —Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
- —Use the service in a way that violates Shopify's Partner Program policies or Terms of Service
- —Resell or sublicense access to the service without prior written consent
7. AI-Generated Content
The AI Assistant generates discount rule configurations based on your prompts. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and testing any AI-generated rules before activating them in your store. EzyStudio makes no guarantee that AI-generated output will be correct, complete, or suitable for your specific use case. Always review generated rules before publishing them to live customers.
8. Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable, high-availability service but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or experience outages beyond our control. We will communicate planned downtime where reasonably possible.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service for violations of these Terms or Shopify's policies. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the app. Upon uninstallation, all store data is permanently deleted per our Privacy Policy.
10. Liability Limitation & Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce specific discount outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EzyStudio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue or profits, arising from your use of the service.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Shopify admin or email. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
