This policy explains what data EzyStudio collects, how it is used, and your rights as a merchant.
1. Overview
EzyStudio is a Shopify application that provides no-code discount rule building powered by Shopify Functions and an AI Assistant. By installing EzyStudio from the Shopify App Store, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. Data We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to provide the service.
Store & Authentication
- Shop domain and OAuth session tokens
Discount Configuration
- Rule configurations stored as JSON in Shopify metafields
Runtime Data (read-only, not stored)
- Customer tags, order count, and lifetime spend — evaluated at checkout
- Cart line items and quantities — processed by Shopify Functions
- Delivery address and payment method — processed at checkout only
This data passes through Shopify's infrastructure and is never written to our servers.
AI Assistant
- Your prompts and existing discount configurations processed by our AI service
- AI-generated responses and usage metrics
Billing & Credits
- Credit balance and transaction history
Support
- Email address, subject, and message content from support form submissions
3. Third-Party Services
Shopify
Core platform, OAuth authentication, and billing. Subject to Shopify's Privacy Policy.
AI Processing
The AI Assistant features are powered by a third-party AI service. When you use Generate, Update, Refine, or Expert modes, your prompts and relevant discount configurations are transmitted to that service for processing.
4. Data Retention
- —AI conversation context: 30-minute TTL, then permanently purged from memory.
- —Discount configurations, activity logs, credit records: Retained for as long as the app remains installed.
- —On uninstall: All shop data including sessions, discount rules, AI logs, and credit records are permanently and irreversibly deleted.
5. Your Rights
Uninstalling EzyStudio from your Shopify store triggers deletion of all associated data. If you require earlier deletion of specific records, contact us at the address below and we will process your request promptly.
You may also request a copy of the data we hold for your store at any time.
